Sri Rajiv Ranjan has been appointed as XII Advocate General of Jharkhand on 07.02.2020. He was also holding the post of Additional Advocate General, State of Jharkhand from 06.09.2011 to 05.12.2012.He completed his Matriculation and Intermediate from D.A.V Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, Ranchi in the year 1984 & 1986 respectively. He then completed his Graduation from Ramjas College, Delhi University in chemistry (B.Sc. Hons.) in the year 1989. Thereafter he completed his L.L.B from National Law School (Campus Law Center), Delhi University in the year 1993. That after completion of his L.L.B he enrolled himself as a practicing advocate with the Bihar Bar Counsel (Now Jharkhand) in the year 1994.
